It means not easily thrown off track or grossed out. If, for example, someone had a gruesome picture they would say, "You can look but it is not for the faint of heart!"
It means one has a tough heart or stomach as it were.
Hope this helps!

It means that you need a strong constitution to handle it. for example, if you hate blood and guts, then the sight of a mutilated body would "not be for the faint of heart". It may sound good, but its not about anything good - it refers to things that are pretty gross.

It means not for the lily-livered.
Not for the wussies.
Not for the scaredy-cats.
Like the Oscar winning movie "The Departed" -- Not for the faint of heart.

if you pass out easy, if your stomach can't take disturbing images, if you have a weak heart, some activities can accelarate your heart to cause a heart attack.
