I'm working on a paper for a communications class. I needed the quote or one with a similiar statistic if anyone knows it. It was quite specific. The second part of the quote stated "the same child will learn __% by age ___" stating an older age and different percentage. I read it in a daily devotional book. I can't remember the name of it, it belonged to a friend. I do remember it was small and had a purple cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

A child will learn 100% of what he will learn his entire life by age of death.

We remain children all our lives-continuously learning and adapting. Our brains are "plastic" and malleable, so we learn throughout our lives.

Besides, all children are different; i don't see how people can say that a child learns 90% of what he will learn his entire life by age 10 or something like that.

I think the quote was more specific study based, and not more common knowledge because I couldn't find it anywhere. And by the way, the quote can differ because he will of learn, lets say 30% by age 10, 50% by age 30, 90% by age 50, but you didn't specify what age, but even so, I couldn't find any information on it. Sorrryyy.

But you can probably put anything, seeing as this little tidbit of knowledge is actually just did by some random study, kinda of like back in the day when everybody thought the sun revolved around the earth, we all learned it that way but that wasn't the case was it. Whoever said 80% by age 7 is wrong, and what the guy says about us learning our whole life is true, but your talking about whatever knowledge we would end up having before death, just a percentage of that, how old. I probably can estimate that I have 45-50 percent knowlege, being that your younger age is when you are most learning based (school, etc), but getting older is the other 50%.
