From God's perspective, yes. He is not bound by time like we are so once you confess and believe that Christ Jesus died on a cross so that your sins could be forgiven, you have instant salvation. For more details, I recommend going to the link provided.
Many people overlook the full definition of the word salvation, however. In reality, there are three aspects to consider.
The first aspect is Justification. When a person becomes a Christian, he or she is immediately justified before God. This is where many people stop, but there is far more to the Christian's life than this.
The second aspect is Sanctification. Out of love for what Christ has done for us, we spend the balance of our life saying "thank you" by living by the principles of the Bible. You can expect a lot of joy, pain, confussion, love, etc. as the words of the Bible affect your way of thinking about God, others and yourself.
The third aspect is Glorification. Once a Christian dies, he or she is glorified for eternity. Neither your imagination nor mine can fathom what this means ultimately. One thing the Bible is clear on, though, is that it will be awesome! Whatever struggles there may be in this life (I guarantee you many), they will be worth turmoil.
Blessings to you. Don't forget to go to the link provided for a clearer understanding of salvation.
