Hi, I read a lot of quotations on the internet. I chanced upon one that said that "Show me a man's favourite quotations and I will show you who he is". So I want to see if a psychology minded individual can interpret something about me from my favourite quotations. Below are my favorite quotations from the last one and a half years. They are arranged chronologically with the latest one being at the bottom. What can you say about me from these. I will tell you how accurate each of you were when I chose the best answer. Here they are :

"A goal without a plan is just a wish"

"No victor believes in chance''

"Throughout your life, you will be hurt by everyone, You have to decide if the person is worth the pain"

"The softest pillow is a clear conscience"

"What you need to know about the past is that no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now"

"Unless the Lord Builds the House, the builder labours in vain"
- Holy Bible, 127:1

"Noblemen and soldiers! Every man that comes into the world is subject to dissolution When we are passed away and gone, Allah survives One and Unchangeable. Whoever sits down to the feast of life must, before it is over, drink of the cup of death. He who arrives at the inn of mortality, the world must one day without fail take his departure from that mansion of sorrow. How much better then is it to die with honor than to live with infamy" - Zahir ud-Din Babur

”The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident." ~Psalm 27:1-3~"

"Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck." - Dalai Lama

"A fool is a person who does the same thing again and again and expects different results" - Albert Einstein

"Man has created God, simply to keep himself humble. All good qualities flow from and are enhanced by inner humility. This includes focus, concentration and desire. Truly - God resides inside a man"

God's messenger said: "The thing I fear for you the most is ash-Shirk al-Asghar." The companions asked "Oh! messenger of God, what is that?"
He replied "Ar-Riya (showing off), for verily God will say on the Day of Resurrection when people are receiving their rewards, 'Go to those for whom you were showing off in the material world and see if you can find any reward from them." - Holy Quran

God is too big to fit into just one religion.

God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or did not do.

It doesn't matter if God invented man or man invented God...A man-made God precludes miraculous acts and a true God wouldn't allow them. [Carol O'Connell in Bone by Bone]

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything You gave me.” [Erma Bombeck]

There are all kinds of death in this world. The death of the body is the least of them. The death of self, the death of hope—now, that's the hard stuff. I've never been one to fear my own death. Not that I want to die, of course. I've just always seen death as a lights-out proposition. You're gone. Either it's the end of you...or it's a beginning. Either way, I don't imagine there's much looking back. I've never bought the whole fire-and-brimstone thing, the concept of reward or punishment at death. The idea that a tally has been kept of our good or evil or mediocre deeds, and that the soul is filed away accordingly for all eternity, just doesn't ring true. Humans judge that way. I tend to think that God probably doesn't. He or She just keeps doling out the lessons with endless patience until you finally “get it” in this life or the next. [Lisa Unger in Sliver of Truth]

Do not blame God for creating tigers; be glad He didn't give them wings. [old African saying]

What could define God [is a conception of divinity wherein He] is the embodiment of the laws of nature. However, this is not what most people would think of that God. They made a human-like being with whom one can have a personal relationship. When you look at the vast size of the universe and how insignificant an accidental human life is in it, that seems most impossible. [Stephen Hawking]

Man insists on ascribing names to everything. Every religion seeks to make God its own, to make its God the greatest. Who's right, then? ...Everyone is right. [paraphrasing Richard Doetsch in Thieves of Darkness]

God's answer to our prayers is sometimes “No.”

Hello there...

I would never know who you are, what you do etc.. What I can make out from the above is how you think..

You don't have many around you who can guide you when you are sad OR you trust less number of people ... Some of the above quotes give you a positive feeling to move on..

You think that you should spend a noble life..

I wish others should be able to answer better if this is not right..

You are: just lately devout (or extra-so than ago); you're seeking to remind your self to be humble,to have a transparent sense of right and wrong via being well, to do matters in a different way as a way to get bigger outcome for your lifestyles, and also you attempt to maintain your self targeted via remembering to devise for what you wish out of lifestyles. The devout costs in the direction of the backside appear to denote that you're leaving extra in God's palms (or Fate's or Allah's,and so on) than you probably did a yr and a part in the past, which strikes a chord in my memory of one more quote; "Trust God, however do whatever."

Based on the quotes you sound like some believes in planning and doesn't rely on chance to succeed. You also sound like you have had a problem with trusting people. A lot of your quotes are from holy books implying that you are religious. You believe in honour and not infamy. You also don't like people who boast off their possessions or wealth. I am starting to like you just based oon the quotes because I am similar.
